Thursday 26th March - character understanding

This rehearsal was the last one before the Easter break and was the last chance really to do an bits that we thoughts needed to be done, as our only other focused rehearsal would be the one in the Easter break. I felt that i knew what my track was and didn't feel any major worries with my scenes, and it was just line accuracy that I need to work on. So while the rest of the class went over some other scenes, I and some of the other people that were not in the scene did some more character work. 

I looked into my characters importance to the play and Lisas development through the play. I see most of my characters in a negative light, either talking about negative actions like Passanger Two, or inflicting negative actions to Lisa like the Goat. And then Inhibitions has lost all self worth and privacy. This is why I see my role in the play as a representive of everything negative in Lisas life. It also came clear to me that all of these bad things in Lisas life may come down to her boyfriend Vince, who is my character in act two, and I have seen my character of Vince being a a manipulative character and all of these negative characters in act one being how she sees Vince.
